Antique German Merry Christmas Child's Light Color Angel Tea Set

It's been many years since we've been able to offer a COMPLETE antique child's Christmas tea set!

Don't let this one get away.  You won't regret the investment.  The book price in 1996 for this set was between $1000 and $1400 for only 4 cups and saucers.  See Lorraine Punchard's book Playtime Pottery & Porcelain, from Europe & Asia, page 103.

The tea pot measures 6-1/2" with the lid.  Look at the wonderful double handle!  The back has a cute picture of a riding horse on it.   The sugar is 4" tall with the lid. There is a small crack in the lid, but it's not really visible when on the sugar.  There are also a few small glaze covered chips that I believe were made during the manufacturing. The creamer is 4" tall and in great condition. Also included are six cups and seven plates.  One cup has damage - see pictures.  Other than that, the cups have some manufacturing flaws typical of children's china from the 1890's.  The cups are 2-1/4" tall and 2-1/4" across the rim.  There are 7 plates that are 5" across.  There is no cracks or chips on these.
