A wonderful demitasse cup & saucer in the Holly Berry Christmas pattern by Tressemann & Vogt.

Marked T&V France and dates between 1892-1907.

The pattern is sprigs of hand painted green holly leaves and red berries.  The sprigs are dashed about a robust green background on pure white china, with elaborately hand painted gold trim creating an elegant and rich design.

One of the more difficult sizes to find in a cup and saucer combination.

No Chips, cracks, or scratches or other damage... almost no wear at all to the gold trim.

This is - to be debated by fellow holly china collectors - THE FINEST and most elaborately decorated patterns made by this premier French Limoges porcelain company.
